At Home Wedding Event
May 27th, 2008 by Eric
This past weekend I had a chance to photograph a great young couple, Lars and Stefanie. They are another example of a couple, that I had the chance to shoot their engagement. Although there was a severe chance of rain, and the bride was afraid it would ruin the pictures, she felt confident enough that we would be able to get great shots, because we had worked together before and had great fun in doing so. We were all so comfortable with the shoot that day, and I think it shows in the images.
It had also helped a bit that this was an at home wedding. Not a large event, but a lot of close family. It just goes to show, it doesn’t always take an expensive wedding to make great images, just great people.
I have also included some images from their engagement shoot. It was filmed in downtown Dahlonega, Ga. Nestled in the north Georgia mountain foothills. This location has a lot of great shooting opportunities.
Enjoy!
We chose Eric because his photographs had such “life” and felt he would make people feel they had actually been at the wedding, if they couldn’t make it, and help us who had been there remember a beautiful day. We were not disappointed! Everyone who has seen the pictures is in awe. My niece in Minnesota sent an email and said she “could feel the day - just like I was there.”Not only is Eric a fabulous photographer and artist - he is a fabulous guy and we enjoyed having him to share this special day. We could never have found anyone else to fill this special place in my son & daughter-in-law’s wedding day - the person who will preserve it forever!
